My Approach: Body Work
More on Somatic experiencing/movement and breath work: In my coaching approach, I invite the body to speak. Our bodies don’t lie. Our bodies sometimes freeze from an ever-accelerated lifestyle that leaves little room for emotional and physical wellness. When we allow the body to be noticed, to relax, to be experienced, to lead more, we are able to allow a different rhythm, we might dare to question the need of chronic overextension, the high speed life-style so many of us lead, the constant overwork. New perspectives will open up. Choosing a new path means taking a first step, and another one… I invite my clients to literally get up, move, breathe, feel their bodies, skin, hands, backs, bellies, legs. I might invite them to dance, to find a new position, get deliberately out and back into balance, try out a new perspective. These somatic exercises can help them step onto the path that they’ve been searching and yearning for. I want for my client to feel in alignment with their bodies, until they truly embody their values, purpose and desires.
